Michael Greenhalgh, the Optometrist and owner, is the only Optometrist in attendance, so you will always see the same person. With 25 years experience, a high level of professional service will be provided across all services.

Your Eye Examination
Eye examinations are carried out using state of the art equipment which can include digital retinal imaging (a photograph of the back of the eye); this allows a more comprehensive view of the eye and consequently earlier detection of any health problems. This is especially useful for our clients with diabetes and glaucoma.
Your Eyewear
Good visual standards are desirable for people in all walks of life and in all circumstances whether that be at school, at work (VDU or safety wear), for Sport (swimming goggles, sunglasses, sports wear), Greenhalgh Opticians can cater for all needs.
Your Contact Lenses
Being an independent optician we stock a wide range of contact lenses, of all types, which are readily available. Including disposables, replacement programmed contact lenses, contact lenses for astigmatism and even bifocal contact lenses.
